Holiday recount
In the holidays I went to Fiji. When we got there we walked out of the plane and into the airport. I was wearing my sweater because when we were in NZ it was freezing but straight when we got to Fiji I started overheating, luckily they had fans at the airport. We stayed at the Westin hotel. On our third day of staying there we went on a trip to Savana island. The crew we went with were really funny. When we got to the island we did some snorkelling and kayaking. The snorkelling was amazing and we saw heaps of fish, I think I might have even seen a rainbow parrot fish. Then they called us back up for baby shark feeding. He threw pieces of sausage and lots of baby sharks came, most of them were black tip reef sharks. We got to are second hotel called The Warwick with was really cool. They had way more activity's there like Pool,Squash, Table Tennis and a Fooseball table. They had a really good beach off there and when we went snorkling there was a lot more fish than Savana island it was awesome. When we went into town the markets were pretty cool and they had some good shops there were I bought some souvenirs and gifts.

Book review
Gangster Granny by David Walliams
One day Ben had to go to his granny's house for the weekend he didn't like his granny she always made him cabbage soup. It was so quiet at her house and she loved to play scrabble. That night Ben had enough of it and called his mum to ask if he could go home, but he didn't know that his granny was listening behind the door. The next day Ben asked for a cookie his granny told him to go check the jar on the pantry, Ben went and checked but what he saw blew his mind. A load of sparkling jewels. He followed his granny and saw that she was trying to rob a jewellery store. He asked his granny what they were and she told him the stories of all of them and how she was a jewellery thief. Ben comes up with an idea to rob the crown of jewels. And he finds out how to get in the queens castle. Him and his granny are just about to rob it but then the queen catches him. Ben's granny and the queen have a lot in common and become great friends. Ben's granny tells him that all the jewels were fake and and she wasn't actually a jewel thief then she gets cancer and dies. On the news was his granny's jewels and it said they were actually real and worth millions!
What I thought about the book: I Was was really surprised when I found out the jewels were real and the stories she said she made up might have actually been true.

What I would do If I won 1 million Dollars
This week we had to make a little graph of what we would do if we won 1 million dollars. We researched the prices of what it would cost, this is my chart.

All Blacks win the first world cup
This week we had to do a blog post about a historical NZ moment in June. I did mine about the first world cup win for the AB's.
The first New Zealand world cup win was on June 20th 1987. It was hosted bye New Zealand and Australia. You might know that the Blues coach John Kirwan played as the winger and scored a very memorable try, nearly full field. The captain of the team at that time was David Kirk. He had the honer of being the first person to win and lift the Webb Ellis Cup.

Quote
I like this quote because it says that your size isn't what's important. It's about how good you play. I like this quote because once I have seen it before, there was a big 18 year old and a little 9 year old playing each other in tennis in the end the nine year old won! Also I can beat my dad in a game of tennis so that proves why I like this quote.

P.E
Today we went to P.E with Mrs S. First we watched a basketball video of this dude doing some skills with his fingertips. We practised the skills with a buddy and did some relays. The skills we had to do were pretty hard but I thought I did well for my first try.
