All Blacks win the first world cup

This week we had to do a blog post about a historical NZ moment in June. I did mine about the first world cup win for the AB's.

The first New Zealand world cup win was on June 20th 1987. It was hosted bye New Zealand and Australia. You might know that the Blues coach John Kirwan played as the winger and scored a very memorable try, nearly full field. The captain of the team at that time was David Kirk. He had the honer of being the first person to win and lift the Webb Ellis Cup.
